The Brief
In July 2020, It’s Nice That and Converse released a brief on Instagram, asking the creative community to reflect on what has been keeping them inspired over the lockdown. To enter, we had to upload our designs with the hashtag #ConverseCreate on Instagram, for a chance to be featured in It’s Nice That.

Don’t Stop The Dance
I created a hand-lettered design that represented the community spirit throughout the lockdown. I was inspired by how people managed to cope in different ways, and the love and support that came from difficult times. I decided to hand-letter the sentence ‘don’t stop the dance’, as it’s a lighthearted take on the idea of not giving up in dark times – and that there is a light at the end of the tunnel.
After submitting it, I took the design back into Illustrator and explored the 3D rendering update, which gave me this funky, plastic-looking version. ︎︎︎︎︎︎︎︎︎

I'm a Social Creative based in London and I currently work at Coolr. I create social campaign ideas for brands like Lidl, Burger King, Deliveroo and Samsung. With four years of experience as a Creative, I've previously crafted viral campaigns for clients including Indeed, Durex, Hydrow, Natura, NatWest, and Avon.
In my free time I love to create my own typographic designs – I’m heavily inspired by 60’s psychedelic gig posters ︎ I graduated from Central Saint Martins in 2019, where I studied BA Graphic Communication Design.
